Itinerary - Kashi Dashan

DAY 01- VARANASI

Arrival at Varanasi Airport / railway station and transfer to hotel. In the evening Witness Aarti ceremony an experience of life. The GANGA Aarti is a spectacular sight. Hundreds throng to the Ghats to participate in this ceremony. Offerings of lamps and flowers are made to the river immediately following this ceremony and it is a moving sight to watch hundreds of miniature lamps float along the river. Return to hotel, overnight at Hotel in Varanasi.

DAY 02- VARANASI

Early morning, you will be taken to visit Dashaswamedh Ghat, Man Mandir Ghat, Manikarnika Ghat by the Ganges. It’s a mystical and spiritual experience as you watch people offering water to the Sun God and devotees taking holy dip in the Ganges. You also visit Kashi Vishvanath temple, Mata Annapurna temple. After visit return hotel for breakfast.
Later in the day a city tour will be arranged covering the Vishwanath temple, Sankat Mochan Temple, Durga Temple, if time permits, you may visit Silk weaving, wooden toy making or such handicrafts of Varanasi. Return to hotel, overnight at Hotel in Varanasi.

DAY 03- VARANASI

Post breakfast visit Ramanagar Fort, on the opposite bank of river GANGA Ramnagar lies. The fort at Ramnagar houses a museum displaying the Royal collection which includes vintage Cars, Royal palkies, an armoury of swords and old guns, ivory work and antique clocks. There is a VedVyasa temple, inside the premises of Ramnagar fort. Post Visit enjoy the local mouth-watering street food of Varanasi.
Late in afternoon you will be taken for an excursion to Sarnath. Sarnath is the place where Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples. The attractions at Sarnath are the Buddha temples, the Dhamekha stupa, Chaukhandi stupa and the archaeological museum. Return to hotel, overnight at Hotel in Varanasi.

DAY 04:- VARANASI-VINDHYACHAL-CHUNAR-VARANASI

Post breakfast start for VINDHYACHAL DARSHAN which is a shakti peetha and one of the most sought Devi temple in and around Varanasi. Later drive to Chunar and Visit Chunar Fort, this massive fort stands at a height of 80’to 175’ from the ground level. Spread over an area of 3400 sq. yards , the fort houses about 1000-800 year, old monolithic stone temples, Samadhi of Bhartrihari ji ,an ancient well Sonva Mandap Bavan Khambha, Bungalow of warren Hastings & Sun Dial. About 1500 year old rock –cut images of lord Vishnu & other deities may be seen on the face of the western cliff-section of the fort hillock. After visit return to Varanasi, overnight at Hotel in Varanasi.

DAY 05- VARANASI

Early in the morning, you will be taken to Assi ghat for witnessing ‘Subah-e-Banaras’ it begun with one-hour yoga session at around 5am followed by two-hour music recital from 6 to 8am. The programme has been named so, with a view to sunrise from the ghats. Besides yoga and music, ancient practices like Yajna would also be added. The programme includes Morning Ganga Aarti with Shehnai and ‘Mangalacharan’ as morning ragas, return to hotel for breakfast, post breakfast enjoy the hotel facilities, in-time checkout and start for to airport / railway station for your departure transfer.
