Nalanda-Rajgir – Gaya – Varanasi – Prayag - Ayodhya – Naimisarnam
Arrival at Patna Airport and drive to Bodhgaya. Enroute visit Nalanda and Rajgir. Nalanda is a great centre of Buddhist learning and one of the most famed university citadels of ancient times. Rajgir, it was once the ancient capital of the powerful Kingdom of Maghada. From the out-skirts of Rajgir, a historic road leads to Gridhakuta or vultures peak where the Buddha preached. Here the first Buddhist Council was held after the Lord’s Mahaparinirvana. Further continue drive to Bodhgaya, arrive and check-in to a hotel. Overnight at hotel in Bodhgaya.
Early morning start Gaya teertah, visit Vishnupad Temple perform some rituals, in hindu religion people do PINDA DAN for Their ancestors you may perform this by the river Falgu near Visnupadh Temple, continue visiting Akshy Vat, Sita Kund & Mangla Gauri Temple. Post lunch you may visit Mahabodhi Temple, Monastery, Thai temple, 80 feet Buddha, later drive to Varanasi. Overnight at hotel in Varanasi.
Early morning, you will be taken to visit Dashaswamedh Ghat, Man Mandir Ghat, Manikarnika Ghat by the Ganges. It’s a mystical and spiritual experience as you watch people offering water to the Sun God and devotees taking holy dip in the Ganges. You also visit Kashi Vishvanath temple, Mata Annapurna temple. After visit return hotel for breakfast. After breakfast proceed for an excursion to Sarnath. Sarnath is the place where Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples. The attractions at Sarnath are the Buddha temples, the Dhamekha stupa, the Chaukhandi stupa and the archaeological museum. Later in the day a city tour will be arranged covering the Vishwanath temple, Sankat Mochan Temple, Durga Temple, if time permits, you may visit Silk weaving, wooden toy making or such handicrafts of Varanasi.
In the evening Witness Aarti ceremony an experience of life. The GANGA Aarti is a spectacular sight. Hundreds throng to the Ghats to participate in this ceremony. Offerings of lamps and flowers are made to the river immediately following this ceremony and it is a moving sight to watch hundreds of miniature lamps float along the river. Return to hotel, overnight at Hotel in Varanasi.
After breakfast drive to Sitamarhi, the place where Mata Sita spent her 11 years in Valmiki Ashram, there is beautiful Mata Sita’s Temple and Big Hanuman Statue, after visit continue your drive to Prayagraj and visit Sangam – The confluence of three river (Ganaga – Jamunna & Mythological Saraswati) as per Hindu believe one should take a holy dip at this scared confluence. After visit check-in to a hotel, Overnight at Hotel in Prayag.
Morning after breakfast checkout and drive to Ayodhya, arrive Ayodhya and check-in at hotel. Later in the day visit the major attractions of Ayodhya the Ram Janmabhumi (birthplace of Lord Rama), Hanumangarhi Temple, Kanak Bhawan & Dasarath Bhawan, Nageshwar Temple, Ramki padhi and Saryu river front to witness the Aarti. Overnight at Hotel in Ayodhya.
Morning after breakfast drive towards Naimisharanya to visit Chakra Theerth, SuthGaddi, Lalitha Devi, Hanuman Gaddi and Pandav Kila, Vyaas Gaddi, Swayambhu Manu and Sathroopa, Dadheechi Kund. After completing then drive back to Lucknow, check-in at hotel, Overnight at Hotel in Lucknow.
After breakfast check out, today a half day city tour of Lucknow will be arranged for you visiting Bara Imambara, Jama Masjid, Rumi Darwaza, Presidency and local arti-facts of chikankari products in old market area. In-time start for airport / railway station for your departure transfer.
